Bandits in Birnin Gwari Forest of Kaduna State are threatening to kill Hadiza Ahmad, a lady kidnapped a few days ago along Birnin Gwari road if her parents did not pay them the sum of 50 million Naira.
The victim who is a nursing mother was kidnapped alongside two other girls that live in Layin Bilya Rigasa Kaduna who went to Birnin Gwari to distribute their Wedding cards which is coming up very soon, the bandits are asking for 20 million Naira for the two other girls, but their family said the bandits should go ahead and kill them because they are even finding it difficult to feed.
Birnin Gwari to Kaduna has been a dangerous area even before El-Rufai became Governor, but things have become worse, no day will pass without bandits killing or kidnapping people despite the massive deployment of security agencies to the area.
There are those with the belief that the insecurity, in Birnin Gwari, Zamfara, Niger and Sokoto States are not unconnected with the massive presence of gold, in these areas, in fact on many occasions helicopters were seen dropping guns and other dangerous weapons for the bandits.
