Breakdown of how ADC stakeholders voted for Atiku across states

Former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar polled a total of 1,846,370 votes to emerge the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) following the final collation of results nationwide.

The results showed that Atiku recorded his strongest performances in the North-East and North-West geopolitical zones, with massive votes from Adamawa, Kano, Gombe, and Bauchi.

In Adamawa State, Atiku polled 177,141 votes, his highest from any state in the federation. Kano followed with 155,595 votes, while Gombe delivered 136,933 votes and Bauchi recorded 115,410 votes in his favour.

Other high figures come from Kaduna with 108,784 votes, Borno with 86,084 votes, and Niger with 79,206 votes.

In the North-West, Atiku also dominated Katsina with 74,444 votes, Kebbi with 65,153 votes, Sokoto with 63,823 votes, and Zamfara with 60,500 votes.

In the South-East region, Anambra emerged as his strongest state with 58,566 votes, followed by Imo, where he garnered 52,222 votes. He, however, recorded lower figures in Ebonyi and Abia with 1,210 and 25,153 votes, respectively.

Across the South-South region, Akwa Ibom gave him 17,623 votes, while Cross River delivered 17,461 votes. Rivers State recorded its lowest figure in the region with 912 votes.

In the South-West, Lagos State produced 37,783 votes for the former vice president, while Ogun and Oyo states delivered 25,634 and 23,011 votes, respectively.
