A female social media yahoo picker, Instagram Celebrity, Adedamola Adewale Rukayat (a.k.a Adeherself) has been remanded in the custody of Nigeria’s main anti-graft agency.
According to Justice Solebo of Lagos Special Offence Court, the Instagram celebrity should be kept in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Adedamola Adewale Rukayat (aka Adeherself) who was accused of being ‘cyber picker’ for her ally was arrested earlier last month.

The count read: “That you, Adewale Adedamola Rukayat, on or about the 15th day of June 2020 in Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this honourable court, with intent to defraud, had in your possession documents entitled “WhatsApp”, which representations you knew or ought to have known, was false and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 6 (8) (b) and 1 (3) (d) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act No. 14 of 2006″.
She, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. Prosecution counsel, S. O. Daji, requested the court to give a trial date, while also pleading the remand of Adeherself in the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCS).
Justice Solebo adjourned the matter to July 13, 2020, for the hearing of the bail application, while ordering that the defendant be remanded in the EFCC custody.
