Daniel Dubois to take on Anthony Joshua for vacant IBF title after Usyk’s departure
It has been confirmed that Daniel Dubois will face off against Anthony Joshua in a highly-anticipated all-British clash for the IBF world heavyweight title at Wembley on September 21.
This showdown comes after Oleksandr Usyk’s recent decision to vacate the belt.
Dubois, as the IBF’s mandatory challenger, will step into the ring against Joshua in what promises to be a thrilling battle for the coveted title.
Usyk’s departure marks the end of his historic reign as the first heavyweight to simultaneously hold the IBF, WBO, WBA, and WBC belts.

The last heavyweight to unify the major belts before Usyk was Britain’s Lennox Lewis in 1999.
