Divorce: Anita demands N7.8m monthly support from singer, Paul Okoye

Anita, estranged wife of Nigerian music star Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), is demanding $15,000 (N7.8 million) monthly as spousal support from the divorced singer.

This is part of the demands she made in the petition she filed before an Abuja High Court in the alleged leaked divorce paper.

The payment is for “a monthly maintenance for the general welfare,education and health of the three children of the union who are presently in schools in the United States of America until they are of age,” part of the document read.

Neptune reported that Anita had filled a divorce petition at the Federal High Court, Abuja leaked on the internet.

Also, she advised her now estranged husband in the legal document to challenge the petition if he feels disgruntled, according to PulseNG.

Earlier in the year (April), there were speculations of divorce between the two parties when Anita reportedly relocated with their three children to the United States of America.

Before the split, Anita and Paul were lovers right from when they were in the university, got married in 2014 in a very flamboyant wedding ceremony held in Port Harcourt.
