Operatives from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) conducted a raid on the headquarters of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in Abuja on Tuesday, investigating alleged fraud.
The operatives arrived at the commission’s offices at 11 a.m. in a white bus, armed with a valid warrant of arrest. They left the premises with NAHCON spokesperson Fatimah Usara and three other staff members whose identities have not yet been disclosed.

Sources told journalists that the arrests are linked to an ongoing probe into the misappropriation of funds.
This comes shortly after a similar raid by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), which is investigating the mismanagement of the ₦90 billion intervention fund for the 2024 Hajj.
EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale assured that further details would be provided when available.
