The election was held to decide who gets the nod to marry a lady in Bauchi State,

This came after the lady reportedly fell in love with two guys and has a very tough task to choose who to marry.

The story was shared by a Twitter user with the handle, Mubarak Umar on the micro-blogging site and this has since gotten people talking.

In the post, he stated that the lady who was identified as Khadija was unable to choose between two young guys with names Inusa and Ibrahim.

None of the two guys was also ready to accept defeat without a contest so it had to come down to an election.

This election was conducted by elders on Khadija’s request, with Inusa scoring a higher number of votes and getting the nod to marry her.
