Ex-NPA Executive Director Zubairu AbdulHamid Dambatta dies at 75

Alhaji Zubairu AbdulHamid Dambatta, former Executive Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and former Special Assistant on Petroleum Matters to President Olusegun Obasanjo, has passed away.

He died in Kano at the age of 75 following a brief illness, according to a family source.

The source revealed that the late Alhaji Zubairu AbdulHamid Dambatta is survived by a wife, children, and grandchildren.

His burial will take place at 1pm today, in accordance with Islamic rites, at the Usman Bin Affan Mosque in Gadon Kaya.

May the soul of the deceased rest in Aljannatul Firdaus. Amin.
