Execute corporate social responsibility projects in Yobe – Gov. Buni tells UBA

The Yobe State Governor, His Excellency, Mai Mala Buni has called on the United Bank for Africa (UBA) on the execution of corporate social responsibility projects and programmes in the state.

Governor Buni made the call on Wednesday when he received Mr Liadi Ayoku, the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank.

He said as a business partner patronised by the state government, the Bank should reciprocate the gesture by responding to the needs of the people.

The Governor who was represented by the state Commissioner for Finance, Alhaji Musa Mustapha, assured that government will continue to conduct transparent business with all partners.

UBA Deputy Managing Director, Mr Ayoku, lauded Governor Buni for his commitment to the development of the state.

He assured the determination of his organisation towards a fruitful business partnership with the Yobe state government.

Ayoku assured that the Bank would develop and improve on the corporate social responsibility as demanded by Governor Buni.
