FCE Potiskum deputy provost, Dr Abdulkadir, dies at 53

The deputy provost of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum in Yobe State, Dr. Abdulkadir Adamu is dead.

Family sources told Neptune Prime that the deceased passed away on Wednesday after a brief illness at the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital Azare, Bauchi State.

Hundreds of people attended his funeral prayer, which was held at the Emir of Fika palace in Potisthe.

The funeral prayer was led by the chief Imam ofwasa Emirates Council, Goni Mthe uhammad Babaji.

In attendance were the Emir of Fika, Alhaji Muhammadu Abali Ibn Muhammad Idriss (Chairman Yobe State Council of Chiefs).

Abdulkadir died at the age of 53 and is survived by one wife, three children; Maryam (aged 14), Muhammad (aged 12), and Khadija (aged 6).

Dr. Abdulkadir, until his death, was the deputy provost (Administration) and Director Degree Programme of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum in Yobe State.
