FG announces free train rides for Nigerians
The Federal Government has announced a free train ride for citizens traveling to celebrate the Christmas holidays.
Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, shared the news on Monday during a briefing on the outcomes of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
He revealed that the free train service will begin on December 20, 2024, and run until January 5, 2025.
Idris also mentioned that Nigerians can access the train rides across all routes currently served by the country’s train services.
