FG repatriates 190 Nigerians from UAE
The Federal Government has successfully repatriated 190 Nigerian citizens from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) released a statement signed by Bashir Garga, the Director General of the North Central Zone, confirming that the returnees arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at 5:57 am.
A dedicated team of government officials led by NEMA welcomed the returnees upon their arrival.
NEMA disclosed that the returnees have undergone profiling and documentation by relevant agencies.

Additionally, they have been advised to display decorum and responsibility as they reintegrate back into Nigeria.
In a message to all Nigerians, the federal government highlighted the importance of acting as positive representatives of the country by embodying fundamental values such as patriotism, respect for the rule of law, decency, and integrity.
This repatriation effort follows a previous mission in October 2022 when the Federal Government brought back a total of 542 Nigerian nationals from the UAE.
