Gov. Bago celebrates former Head of State, Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar GCFR @ 81

Niger State Governor, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, extends his heartfelt felicitations to Nigeria’s former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar GCFR, on the occasion of his 81st birthday.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor describes the former leader as a patriotic and esteemed elder statesman.

Governor Umaru Bago acknowledged General Abdulsalami’s consistent and significant contributions to the progress and development of the country.

He expressed gratitude for the privilege of having such an iconic leader, who serves as a reference point for diplomacy and conflict resolution not only in the state but also throughout the nation.

“It is truly comforting to have an outstanding statesman who has consistently remained committed to promoting national unity, integration, and global peace. Your selfless service to our fatherland and humanity at large is a testament to your statesmanship and influence, which resonates across the length and breadth of this country.”

The Governor concludes by praying to God for the octogenarian’s sound health and wishes him more wisdom, courage, and determination to continue his selfless service to humanity.
