Accolades have been showered on the Governor of Yobe state and Chairman APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, in recognition of his giant strides in Housing policy and intervention.
This is as the governor bagged the award of Most Friendly Housing Governor of the year 2021.
The award was presented to Governor Buni on Monday by the Abuja International Housing Show.
According to the organisers, the governor was presented with the award in recognition of his giant strides in Housing policy and intervention.
Presenting the award to the Governor, the Special Guest of Honour and Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, commended Governor Buni for his massive housing project to provide the people with decent housing accommodation.
Fashola who was represented by the state minister of Works, Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu said Buni’s housing project will bridge the housing deficit in the state.
Governor Buni who was also represented by the state commissioner for Housing, Alh. Bukar Dauda said the award will spur him to do more to provide the people with more housing.
He commended the Abuja International Housing Show for recognising the achievements of his government in the housing sector.
Governor Buni dedicated the award to the people of the state for their support and cooperation for the government to have achieved so much in the housing sector.
