Gov. Buni pledges to execute all ongoing projects in Yobe

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has pledged to complete all the ongoing capital projects in the state.

The Governor made this known on Friday in Ngelzarma town during a grand solidarity rally organised for him by Yobe South (zone B) Hausa-Fulani Solidarity for Mai Mala Buni because of the governor’s commitment towards infrastructural projects in the zone and the state.

He stated that the present administration in the state is a government of continuity , and will therefore complete all the ongoing projects instigated in the state as part of the government effort to bring development for all.

Buni revealed that the gathering “grand solidarity rally” shows peace has returned to Yobe State.

He recalled that 10 years back, a single person cannot be found in Ngelzarma town as a result of insurgency in the state and in the North eastern region.

“In 2015, God Almighty has sent us President Muhammadu Buhari whose first priority was to fight insecurity which has resulted to the present peace we are enjoying now in the state and the country at large,” he said.

He commended the organisers of the grand solidarity rally for recognising his commitment and achievements in developing the zone and the state as a whole.

The governor equally charged the national president, Miyatti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Alhaji Baba usman Ngelzarma, to establish a cordial relationship between farmers and herders in the country for the reign of peace.

Governor Buni also urged the Emirs and Mais in the state to unite their subjects at their respective domains for the development of the state.

The grand solidarity rally was attended by Yobe state deputy governor, Alhaji Idi Barde Gubana, Speaker Yobe State house of Assembly, Ahmed Lawan Mirwa, Senators and Reps, National President Miyatti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Baba Usman Ngelzarma, among other politicians in the state.
