Gov. Mohammed donates ₦20m to families of Gubi Dam victims
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has donated ₦20 million to the families of four staff who died while working for the State Urban Water and Sewerage Corporation.
On Monday, four workers died during routine maintenance at the Gubi Dam Water Treatment Plant while cleaning the water system.
The deceased were identified as Musa Ibrahim, Abdulmalik Ibrahim, Shu’aibu Hamza, and Jamilu Yunusa

The governor made the donation on behalf of himself, the government, and the people of Bauchi State to show sympathy over the tragic incident.
While consoling the families, the governor prayed Allah would grant the deceased Al-jannatul Firdaus and give their families the strength to bear the loss.
The Village Head of Firo in Ganjuwa Local Government Area, where the deceased lived, thanked the governor and prayed Allah would reward him generously.
