Seven people have been snatched by shooters suspected to be ruffians along Jalingo-Wukari street.

Daily Trust accumulated that the exploited people are all from Ibbi town and were coming back from Jalingo where they invited Taraba State representative, Darius Ishaku.

The Taraba State senator came back to Jalingo on Thursday subsequent to going through 87 days outside the state. He was gotten by a huge horde of occupants and gathering supporters at the Danbaba Suntai Airport, Jalingo.

It was assembled that the exploited people were going in transport with enrollment number, BBB640AA, when they  ran into a barricade mounted by the ruffians along Wukari Federal high route at about 8.25pm Thursday.

An onlooker, Muhammed Ibrahim, who was inside another transport and barely got away, revealed to Daily Trust that it was a guard of around 10 vehicles, all coming back from Jalingo where they got Governor Darius Ishaku at Jalingo Airport.

He said six vehicles in the pass on had passed however the transport convoying the seven kidnapped people was ended by the shooters. He said different vehicles, on locating the barricade, immediately turned around.

Ibrahim said the shooters brought the exploited people into the Forest. He gave the names of the snatched people as; Ali Bala, Murtala Ali Ada, Musa Suleiman and Sule Yusuf. Others are; Ali Doctor, Alhaji Aminu Sani and Alhaji Dantani Kabawa.

He said the abductors have reached groups of the people in question and requested N100 million emancipate.

The representative of Taraba State Police Command, DSP David Misal, said he is in Abuja presently, saying he had no subtleties of the occurrence. He vowed to give subtleties when he is advised.
