On Saturday, August 29, 2020, kidnappers numbering about 15, armed with AK 47 rifles reportedly stormed Dungurum community, of Murfa Kalam Village Unit of Damaturu LGA in Yobe State and kidnapped a wealthy Fulani Alhaji.
The kidnappers were reported to have collected N4 million and still went away with the man.
However, GF/NPF ambushed the kidnappers, killing 3, arrested 4 and rescued the victim.
The arrested kidnappers are currently undergoing interrogation at the Police station.
