How Hilda Baci, the “Nigerian Jollof Queen,” reacted to losing her longest cooking marathon record

Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef renowned for her cooking skills, has finally reacted after losing her Guinness World Records (GWR) title for the longest cooking marathon (individual).

She had previously been hailed as the new record holder in June, after GWR verified the footage of her epic cooking challenge.

Neptune Prime understands that Hilda had aimed to set a staggering record of 100 hours, but a minor mistake on her part affected her target.

The 26-year-old had embarked on this extraordinary feat from Thursday, 11 May, to Monday, 15 May, during which she cooked over 100 pots of food in four gruelling days in the kitchen.

After a thorough review of all the evidence, GWR confirmed Hilda Baci as the official record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.

However, on Tuesday, GWR announced that an Irish chef, Alan Fisher, had broken Hilda Baci’s record.

Alan achieved the title for the longest cooking marathon (individual) with an impressive time of 119 hours and 57 minutes, which was “more than 24 hours longer than the previous record” held by Hilda.

She responded with grace to the news, congratulating Mr. Fisher for his remarkable accomplishment, calling it a “huge achievement.”

She also sent her best wishes to the new world record holder via her social media platform.

“Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57 mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder!” Hilda said.
