How police in Delta nabbed Yahoo boy for attempting to remove mother’s eyes for money ritual (Photos)
The Delta State Police Command has arrested a young Yahoo boy identified as Emma Ereegarnoma for allegedly trying to pluck out his mother’s eyes for money rituals.
The suspect carried out the unworthy act on Tuesday at his residence in Okuokoko town in Okpe Local government area of Delta State.

The victim, Mrs Oke Eregarnoma, a petty trader, who narrated her ordeal with journalists, said that her son invited her to his house for a surprise and on getting there, she said she saw Emma in an unusual joyous mood after he welcomed her in. He then increased the volume of the music from his home theatre.
Oke alleged that her son after welcoming her locked the door, started strangling and attempted to pluck out her eyes. As the loud music submerged her cries for help, she was able to break free and ran out to neighbours who rescued her.
Emma was immediately apprehended and handed over to the police.
Mrs Oke, who was on a hospital bed where she was recuperating, recalled that before the attack, her son had boasted that “he must drive a Benz GLK this week”.
The acting Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident, adding that the suspect was in custody.
