In the last few days, some celebrities made more headlines than others. Neptune Prime, with a report from Ripplesnigeria.com, compiled the list of some of these celebrities that kept the social media emotional.

‘Mama Jam Jam’ as she is fondly called by colleagues close to her has been in the news in recent times especially after a steamy stage performance with Wizkid.

The former female act of Mavin records according to fresh reports is set to share the same stage with iconic American R&B group, Boy II Men 2019 Flytime music festival, which is also the 15th year anniversary of the event.

Tiwa who is lined up as the headliner of the five-day event, which is to hold in Lagos, will also be performing alongside other music stars such as Megan Thee Stallion, Mase and Koffee, among others.

He is still the political supremo judging by how he was received at the recently staged anniversary celebration of the creation of Akwa Ibom State.

Akpabio (the incumbent Minister of Niger Delta Affairs) who had not attended any state event in recent times after he defected from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressives Congress (APC) became a beautiful bride at the well attended anniversary celebrations.

Reports say that at the end of the Thanksgiving Service held at Ibom Hall Grounds in Uyo, thousands of youths besieged Akpabio’s convoy, singing and dancing along with him in a journey of about 10 minutes to his Ewet Housing Guest House where he was lodged.

Feelers say the reception accorded to Akpabio did not go down well with the incumbent, Governor Udom Emmanuel, as a public holiday, normally enjoyed on the following day of the anniversary, was canceled amidst allegation that it was to show displeasure for the support given to Akpabio.

It’s no news that the sequel to the 1992 classic, ‘Living in Bondage’ which is one of the most anticipated movies in 2019, is set to hit cinemas very soon.

What is news is that we gather that it took three years to write the sequel of the movie after it was severally remodified until writers came up with a script which close watchers say is fantastic.

The sequel titled ‘Living in Bondage: Breaking Free’, now has movie freaks smacking their lips as they await to see the 27-years old blockbuster come to life again.

Their viral song ‘Brown Skin Girl’ has won over many fans and music lovers alike ever since its release to global listening audience.

However, the song’s popularity is about to be ‘pumped up’ to another level with reports revealing that the duo have called on people to appear on ‘The Lion King ‘ the gift video.

According to fresh gist, Beyonce and Wizkid have called on black and brown people of different cultures, nationalities, ethnicity, gender and ages to come tell their stories by taking part in the video shoot for the song.

We also gather that the anticipated video is presently being shot in a number of locations across London with some of it being shot in Catford and Thamesmead to the delight of locals.

So, news has it that Solange Knowles, the younger sister of American pop star, Beyonce Knowles has parted ways with her husband Alan Ferguson.

The 33-year old ‘Cranes in the Sky’ crooner, we gather decided to call it quits with Alan, 56, who she referred to as “phenomenal,” 11 years ago and once said he “changed every existence” of life.

Solange got married to Alan, a music director near her plush home in New Orleans in November 2014.

Their five-year union as husband and wife reportedly crashed after the singer, it was revealed, said she found it necessary to protect the sacredness of her personal truth and to live in it fully just as she has before and will continue to do.

Though he died 8 months ago in an unfortunate air crash, late Nigerian-born Canadian professor Pius Adesanmi, was committed to mother earth recently.

Recall that Pius who was among the passengers on the ill-fated Ethiopian Airline flight which crashed on its way to Nairobi, Kenya, in March was buried last Saturday.

The late professor was finally laid to rest at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetry 3700, Prince Wales Drive, Ottawa , Ontario, K2C 3H1, Canada

We also gather that a suit against Boeing company over the fatal crash on June 4 which was filed on behalf of the bereaved family at the US district court in Chicago will soon come up for hearing.
