I almost became a pastor – Tonto Dikeh
Nollywood actress turned politician, Tonto Dikeh, recently opened up about her upbringing and revealed that she had seriously considered becoming a pastor.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on Tuesday, the actress shared that her childhood was deeply intertwined with the church.
She reminisced about her active involvement, mentioning her role as a cell leader and a dedicated worker within the church community.
Expressing her values, Tonto Dikeh emphasized that despite her career shift into the entertainment industry, she still holds onto her principles and appreciates decency.
She admitted feeling uneasy when wearing revealing clothing, highlighting the lasting impact of her upbringing.
Reflecting on her journey, the actress-turned-politician wrote, “I grew up in church… I was a Cell leader. I was Dept. Assistant. I almost became a pastor. I still have 70% village mentality… I’m so uncomfortable with revealing clothing…” [sic].
