The Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board has evacuated students of the state origin studying at the University of Jos and other tertiary institutions in Plateau State to avoid the ongoing crisis in the state.

The Executive Secretary of Kaduna State Scholarship and Loans Board, Malam Hassan Rilwan disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Kaduna.

According to him, the evacuation was as a result of Kaduna State Government Directive that all students of Kaduna State trapped in Plateau State should be evacuated in view of the worsening security situation in that state.
