Kannywood actor, Malam Nata’ala, is dead

Popular Kannywood actor, Malam Nata’ala, known for his role in the TV drama series Daɗin Kowa, has passed away.
He died on Sunday at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital after a prolonged illness.
Funeral arrangements and the time for the Janazah prayer will soon be announced by his family.
During the course of his treatment, Malam Nata’ala expressed deep gratitude to Yobe State Governor Dr Mai Mala Buni for his financial support in a recent interview with Neptune Prime correspondent.

The governor had earlier donated ₦2 million to help with the actor’s medical treatment.
Nata’ala also thanked other Yobe State politicians who have provided assistance.
He further extended his appreciation to his colleagues in Kannywood, stating that they have been very supportive. The hopeful and resilient Nata’ala concluded by thanking his fans for their prayers, saying, “It’s through their prayers that I continue to see signs of recovery.”
