How Kogi former lawmaker kidnapped by gunmen in Abuja hotel

A former Lawmaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Friday Sani Makama, has reportedly been attacked and whisked away by unknown gunmen in a hotel in Abuja.

The attack occurred in the early hours of Thursday, when the heavily armed men stormed the Hilltop hotel located in Abuja-Kaduna highway, Tugun Maga village, in the Zuba area of the FCT, shooting sporadically into the air to scare away the security men on guard and kidnapped the owner of the hotel and the guests.

Makama represented Igalamela Odolu State constituency on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

However, in a report by the Kogiflame, it was reported the hotel Manager, Mr Adejoh Maquile, called a family member related to Makama, Prince Frederick Adejoh (Oma Onu Aya), and others in a distressing call saying they had been kidnapped.

He also confirms that there were signs of blood on the ground, but they could not identify who among the victims sustained the injury.

It is yet to be determined if the armed gang are kidnappers and the reason behind the operation.
