Let new, old naira notes be in circulation – APC governors to Buhari

Governors of the All Progressive Congress (APC) have pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to permit the co-circulation of both the old and new naira notes to lessen the suffering of Nigerians.

This was disclosed by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of the Kano state after the APC governors meeting with the Nigerian leader at the State House in Abuja on Friday.

The President has promised to look into the situation, he said.

Governors present in the meeting are that of Ebonyi, Ogun, Imo, Zamfara, Kebbi, Yobe, Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Kwara, and Niger.
