Sabiu Yusuf is the Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, he was appointed immediately after the President won the 2015 general elections.
Sabiu Yusuf Tunde, who is the son of the President’s niece and younger sister to Mamman Daura, is considered the President’s closest confidant.
Sabi’u Yusuf is believed to be nicknamed ‘Tunde’ because of his closeness to President Muhammadu Buhari just like Late Babatunde “Tunde” Abdulbaki Idiagbon who was a Nigerian Army Major General who served as chief of staff at Supreme Headquarters under the military regime of Major General Muhammadu Buhari from 1983 to 1985.
The exact age of Sabi’u Tunde is still a subject of speculations but he is believed to be in his late 20s or at best early 30s.
Sabi’u Tunde attended Bayajidda Primary School, Daura before proceeding to Teachers College, Daura for his secondary school.
He also attended Bayero University, Kano for his degree program and did his NYSC in Kaduna State.
