- Defence: Dr. Ahmad Lawan
Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan GCON, born on January 12, 1959, is a Nigerian politician and professor. He served as the 14th President of the Nigerian Senate from 2019 to 2023, representing the Yobe North Senatorial District as a member of the All Progressives Congress. He chaired the Senate Committee on Defense.
