Ministerial screening for Ojukwu, Oduwole, others postponed
The Presidency has announced the postponement of the screening for seven ministerial nominees to allow them to finalise their documentation and pre-screening processes.
Originally set for Tuesday in the Senate, the screening is now rescheduled for Wednesday at noon.

This was contained in a statement on Tuesday signed by Basheer Lado, the Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Senate Matters and made available to News Point Nigeria.
Last Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu made significant cabinet changes, dismissing five ministers, reallocating ten to new portfolios, and proposing seven fresh nominees for Senate approval.
Among those nominated are Bianca Odumegu-Ojukwu for Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction—marking the end of Betta Edu’s suspended tenure.
Additional nominees include Maigari Dingyadi for Minister of Labour and Employment, Jumoke Oduwole for Minister of Industry, Idi Maiha for the newly established Ministry of Livestock Development, Yusuf Ata for Minister of State in Housing and Urban Development, and Suwaiba Ahmad for Minister of State for Education.
The Senate, led by President Godswill Akpabio, is expected to conduct the screening on Wednesday.
