Many things in life are competitions but the world is sometimes made a dark place because of sour losers who cannot be happy for their competitor’s wins.

However, at the recently held 69th Miss World pageant, being a sour loser can definitely not be used to describe Miss Nigeria, Nyekachi Douglas, who showed amazing sportsmanship after she celebrated Miss Jamaica’s win in an outstanding way. 23-year-old Miss Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh, was announced as the Miss World 2019 on December 14, 2019, and Miss Nigeria was on hand to cheer her on by jumping and punching her fists gleefully while running on the stage as she could not contain the excitement.

Miss Nigeria alongside Miss Brazil, Miss India, Miss Jamaica, and Miss France were all in the top five spots to cinch the crown but there is no doubt that they are all winners.

Miss Nigeria’s reaction was very well noted by fans and celebrated her show of support for her fellow black woman. Many internet users took to commending her and also calling her a winner.
