Moses Simon faces new Injury setback ahead of Ligue 1 season
Nigeria winger Moses Simon is dealing with a new injury concern as he prepares for the upcoming season.
Simon, who had previously been sidelined since March due to an injury sustained during international duty, has shown promise in pre-season by scoring twice in two games for Nantes. The 28-year-old netted the winning goal in Nantes’ 2-1 victory over Laval on Saturday night.
However, Nantes manager Antoine Kombouare revealed that Simon is currently struggling with an ankle problem.

“I only regret that Moses Simon is struggling with his ankle,” Kombouare said following the match against Laval.
