Mother flogs baby to death over father’s abandonment
A mother has allegedly flogged her young toddler to death in Isiokolo, Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
They added that the woman was always irritated by the baby, which made her assault the little child daily.
The last assault was the last straw, as the little boy could not endure it and gave up the ghost.

The child was confirmed dead by doctors on duty after neighbours rushed him to the hospital for medical attention.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, has yet to respond to messages sent to him for confirmation of the incident.
