Nasarawa to host PMB on two-day working visit

Nasarawa State Government has commenced preparations towards hosting President Muhammadu Buhari, who will visit the state next month, on a two-day working visit.

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, disclosed this during the first state expanded executive council meeting this year, which was held at the Government House on Thursday.

According to the governor, information has reached the state government indicating that President Buhari is billed to visit Nasarawa State on the 17th and 18th of February.

To this end, Engineer Sule said adequate preparation is being put in place to welcome the President.

“With that announcement, there are certain things we have to put in place, to accord the President a deserved welcome,” he stated.

He used the opportunity to commend members of the state executive council, particularly commissioners, who are doing their best to assist the administration deliver dividends of democracy to the people.

The governor expressed satisfaction with the performance of some of the commissioners who hit the ground running after their inauguration.
