Neptune Prime recognises Gov. Buni’s exploits, honours him with Best Politician award

Neptune Prime Network Nigeria Limited, publishers of Neptune Prime online newspaper, Neptune Prime Magazine and Neptune Prime TV has, in it’s maiden award edition honoured His Excellency, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and Chairman APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), as “Politician of the Year”.

The maiden edition of Neptune Prime awards and book launch for Lami Fatima Babare Cervical Cancer Foundation (LFBCCF) was held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel in Abuja.

During the ceremony, Governor Buni was described as a servant leader that grilled himself to lead with dedication and humility, hence, bringing great development to APC as a national chairman and to Yobe State as a governor.

The Governor, who also received the Governor of the Year award, was applauded for his patriotic leadership and sacrifices towards developing Nigeria’s democracy and for his commitments and careful initiatives in governance.

Receiving the award,, Governor Buni, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abdullahi Gashua made a pledge to support the Lami Fatima Babare Cervical Cancer Foundation (LFBCCF).

The Chief of Staff was accompanied by the Commissioner, Ministry of Finance Honourable Musa Mustapha, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy and Transport, Dr Mustapha Geidam, the DG Press and Media Affairs Mamman Mohammed, among other senior government officials.

Earlier, Dr Hassan Gimba Ahmed, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Publisher of Neptune Prime unveiled a book ‘The Arbiter’ which is a compilation of his written articles in support of Lami Fatima Babare Cervical Cancer Awareness Foundation (LFBCCAF).

‘The Arbiter’ has its forward written by the Chairman, APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni.

Other awardees during the occasion includes, the First Lady of Nigeria Aisha Buhari, honoured with the award of Excellence for Girl-Child Education Advocate of the Year. Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) received the Public sector Regulator of the Year award.

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos were honoured with the Award of Excellence for Governor of the year 2022.

The event had in attendance dignitaries from all walks of life, media practitioners, captain of industries, women groups among other VIPs.
