NP’s Family Dynamics on Sunday: A Single mother seeks our thoughts on a dilemma of love, career, and opportunity
Dear Sis Eesher,
I need help with some happenings in my life; I’m so confused and don’t know which way to go.
I’m a single mom of one and a graduate struggling to make ends meet and taking care of my daughter alone since the dad opted to go into betting, becoming irresponsible.
The main issue now is, I have suitors asking for my hand in marriage, but a family friend offered me work in Egypt. He will be responsible for all the financial aspects. Where I’m confused is, I’m considering my age, and at the same time, I don’t want to lose this opportunity.
I believe some sisters here have gone through this. Kindly advise me for Allah’s sake.
