Dear Sis Eesher,
Three years ago, my husband sent me and my six-month-old child packing. After all that time, he came back begging me to return home. During our separation, he remarried and had a child, but that marriage didn’t last, and the lady also left with her child.

Eventually, I decided to give him a second chance, not knowing I was walking into a worse situation. Since my return, he has physically assaulted me three times. On the 24th of December, we had an argument, and he told me to leave the house with my now three-year-old son at around 8:30 PM. I had no choice but to go to a friend’s house to spend the night.
Yesterday, I went back home to pick up my son’s clothes, only to find another woman in my matrimonial home—she had spent the night there. Now both my family and his family are pleading with me to forgive him. I am at a loss for words and don’t know what to do.
What do you think I should do?

Your issue is quite tricky as I do not know much about your source of income, level of education, or family background. But I will advise you to prioritize your safety and well-being, set clear boundaries, and seek professional help or counseling to make a decision that’s best for you and your child.
Involve a trusted family member or legal support if needed.
