Army boosts Plateau security as COAS approves deployment of 850 troops
The Chief of Army Staff, Olufemi Oluyede, has approved the deployment of 850 additional troops to Plateau State to strengthen security and curb rising violence in the region.
The development was disclosed by the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), which noted that the reinforcement is part of ongoing efforts to restore peace and stability in affected communities.
