Vigilantes, later identified as members of an escort team attached to a local government chairman, allegedly fired shots into the air during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The celebratory gunfire turned deadly when a stray bullet struck and killed the teenage girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acting swiftly, troops in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) tracked down and arrested five suspects linked to the incident. The suspects \u2014 Muhammad Husaini (28), Abba Jiddu (25), Abba Kolo Mohammed (20), Ali Adam (20), and Nura Mohammed (18) \u2014 are currently in custody and will be handed over for further investigation and prosecution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Theatre Command condemned the act, describing it as reckless, unauthorised and a serious breach of firearm regulations.
