The All Progressives Congress has appointed former Interim National Secretary of the party, Alhaji Tijjani Tumsah, to chair its screening committee for the Ondo State Governorship Primary.
The party also named Alhaji Umar Lawan-Kareto as the Chairman of the Appeal Committee.
This was contained in a statement titled, “Tumsah, Kareto Chairs APC Ondo Governorship Aspirants Screening, Appeal Committees,” which was signed by the APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, made available, in Abuja, on Tuesday
The statement read in part, “The Governor Mai Mala Buni-chaired Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress has appointed the Party’s former interim National Secretary, Alhaji Tijjani Musa Tumsah to chair the Party’s screening committee for Ondo State governorship aspirants.
“Alhaji Umar Lawan-Kareto will chair the Screening Appeal committee.
