PMB, SP, Minister, Emir of Fika, others, felicitate with Gov. Buni on 54th birthday

President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with Yobe State Governor and Chairman APC Extra Ordinary Convention Planning Committee, His Excellency, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, as he clocks 54 years of age.

In a statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity Garba Shehu said President Buhari commends Buni for providing exceptional and visionary leadership at state and national levels, noting in particular the role played by Hon. Buni in successfully repositioning the party, with remarkable evidence in increased membership, healthy social atmosphere and exemplary internal democracy.

Similarly, the President of the Senate, His Excellency, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan sends warm regards to Governor Buni on his 54th birthday.

Senator Lawan applauded the governor’s immense talents and energy for the service of Yobe State, Nigeria and entire humanity.

“Due to this attribute of dedication in service, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni’s leadership has been a blessing to the people of Yobe State. Your government is recording great achievements across sectors, bringing peace and development to our beloved State.

“Our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is also having a good taste of your leadership excellence as members appreciate your contributions to stabilising, expanding and strengthening the party in your capacity as its Chairman, Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee.

In the same vein, the Honorable Minister of Power, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency  Engr. Abubakar D. Aliyu, (FNSE) has equally saluted Hon. Mai Mala Buni on his 54th birthday celebration. In a statement signed by the minister said, “on behalf of myself, family and associates, this is to felicitate with our Executive Governor and Chairman, APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, His Excellency Mai Mala Buni as you attained the age of 54.

“Your landmark achievements as governor of our dear state, Yobe, are visible. You have revolutionised education with the declaration of state of emergency in the

Health, agriculture, commerce and human capital development have all received a boost through projects of high quality and interventions that are improving the lives of our people.

“As you continue to make your marks at the state and national levels, I pray to Almighty Allah to be your guide; and to increase your health and wisdom”.

The Emir of Fika and Chairman Yobe State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammad Ibn Abali Muhammad Idrissa CON, in his congratulatory message signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar, in Potiskum, said the King thanked Governor Mai Mala Buni, for his role in ensuring that development prevails accross the state.

“On behalf of the Council of Traditional Rulers, Fika Emirate and good people of Yobe State, I congratulate our leader  as he attains the milestone of 54 years.

Also, the Vice Chancellor Yobe State University Damaturu, Professor Mohammed Mala Daura on behalf of the Senate, Management, Staff and the entire Students of the University felicitated with Governor Mai Mala Buni on his 54th Birthday.

This was contained in a press statement signed by Uwani Zainab Mamuda, Deputy Registrar information and protocol quoted the Vice Chancellor describing the Yobe State Governor, “Mai Mala Buni has never deny the University’s request in running the affairs of the Institution”.

Professor Daura said Yobe State University as one of the most fastest growing Universities in Africa has gone very far in terms of developmental projects which he said was done with the support of past and present Governors.

The Vice Chancellor then wishes Mai Mala Buni a hitch free and successful birthday celebrations.
