Lagos State Police have arrested six suspects in connection with two separate kidnapping cases, recovering a Toyota RAV4 SUV, a bulletproof vest, and other items.

Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, announced the arrests on Monday, commending the command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit for their swift action.

In the first case, a 16-year-old boy was abducted on July 13. The kidnappers demanded and received ₦2 million, a headset, a school bag, and an iPhone 12 before releasing him. Police later tracked down and arrested suspects aged between 22 and 26.
