Portable appears before Lagos police following wanted declaration
Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has turned himself in at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department at Yaba.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to newsmen on Wednesday.
“Portable just turned himself in at the SCID Yaba. We have contacted Ogun State Police Command to come pick him up,” Hundeyin stated.
Neptune Prime reports that the Ogun State Police Command has issued a wanted notice for the controversial singer following his involvement in a violent attack on government officials.

The declaration, shared by the police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, was made in a police gazette on Monday.
According to the statement, the incident occurred on February 5, 2025, around 10:00 a.m., when three officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development’s Ota Zonal Office were conducting an enforcement exercise in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.
