Power outage as national grid collapses in Abuja
Management of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) on Monday confirmed a national grid collapse in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
AEDC announced this via its Twitter handle.

The electricity company however said the situation was being handled and that power would be restored in the shortest possible time.
The tweet read, ”Dear Esteemed Customer, Please be informed that the current power outage is due to a system failure from the National Grid. The system collapsed at about 10:55 am today, 26th September 2022, causing the outage currently being experienced.
“We appeal for your understanding as all stakeholders are working hard to restore normal supply.”
