Story from Saleh INUWA, Kano

One of Kannywood’s popular actresses, Zahra Diamond has wedded secretly without informing any of her colleagues in Kannywood.

She went away with a huge sum of money as part payment given to her by producers that are already working on films for which she is one of the actresses and most of these films are in series.

To the surprise of all, she issued a statement yesterday in Kano which she addressed to her fans that she had decided to settle down and that her fans should pray for her so that her marriage will last. On the other hand, she too wishes her female colleagues that want to settle down to do so because this is the only way a grown-up Muslim lady will be happy in life.

At the time of this report, nobody can say who Zahra Diamond got married to, but whatever is the case, some producer’s are warming up to go to court to retrieve the money they paid to her as part payment. Others said they will challenge her in court for disorganizing their films because they tailored their scripts around her personality.

Already, watchers of Kannywood are making comments on whether she will also make a success of her marriage or run out of wedlock immediately things are not going the way she wants, which is most times always an excuse for divorcees in Kannywood.
