Presidency urges Nigerians to disregard fake Buhari UN speech

The Presidency has denied any involvement with a speech attributed to the President as his presentation at the UN General Assembly.
In a tweet shared on Tuesday, the official twitter handle of the Presidency @NGRPresident described the now viral speech as fake.

The Presidency announced that the President’s address to the United Nations General Assembly was to be delivered on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, while the speech hit the airwaves on Monday Sept. 18.

Nigerians were urged to disregard the speech which has already gone viral online and across social media.
President Muhammad Buhari left Nigeria for the United States on Sunday, September 17, 2017, to attend the 72nd U.N General Assembly.
