Suspected ESN burn police station, kill inspector in Ebonyi

Suspected Eastern Security Network (ESN) invaded Obiozara police station in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi state and killed one Inspector on duty in the early hours of Thursday.

In a report by Blueprint, the station was invaded at about 3am the offices of the Director of Police Divisional Officer (DPO) and that of the administrator were burnt down.

It was also reported that the main Police Station at the Local Government Area was burnt down during the #EndSARS saga and now, the temporary station used for their office has been attacked.

It’s not known if the attackers made away with any equipment belonging to Nigeria police.

Meanwhile, in another report, the SWAT team with Ebonyi State Police Command on Wednesday night killed two persons at a popular area in Abakaliki known as Spera ‘N’ Deo park.

Though information on what led to the killings is not yet known, it was gathered that the SWAT team after killing the people ran away from the park, while another set of policemen came and evacuated the bodies.
