The rector of Federal polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Engr. Dayo Hephzibah Oladebeye, has incurred the wrath of lecturers and students of the institution, after he allegedly invested about N1 billion supposedly for lecturers salaries into Bitcoin. The lecturers have reportedly begun strike action by closing down the gate of the school in protest of N1 Billion salaries arrears owed by the rector according to reports denying students access to write their semester exams. Students have also shown displeasure over the rector’s action, as the federal government is being called upon to intervene.
