Nigeria police begin disciplinary action against ASP Newton Isokpehi over viral death threat video

The Nigeria Police Force has commenced disciplinary proceedings against Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Newton Isokpehi following a viral video in which he threatened to kill anyone who attempted to film him while on duty. The officer sparked outrage on social media after a video surfaced online showing him warning Nigerians against recording police officers during operations. In the viral clip, Isokpehi allegedly threatened to shoot passengers inside a commercial vehicle if anyone attempted to use a mobile phone to record him while carrying out official duties.
