IPI condemns Soyinka’s arrest, demands return of his passport The International Press Institute (IPI) Nigeria has condemned the arrest of Adejuwon Soyinka, the West African editor for The Conversation Africa. Soyinka was detained by officers of the Department of State Services (DSS) at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Sunday, shortly after arriving from the United Kingdom.
