Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has advocated for the rework and review of the Nigerian intelligence network to enhance intelligence gathering and fight against crimes and criminality. This was disclosed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mary Noel-Berje on Tuesday 13 July 2021. According to her, the Governor gave the suggestion during a discussion panel at the 2nd Shinkafi Intelligence and Security Summit organised by the Umaru Shinkafi Legacy Foundation, held in Abuja.
